So as part of this group, we are doing a Sale-a-Bration Blog hop - showcasing ideas for using the Sale-a-Bration FREE stamp sets.
Here is my card using the Sale-a-Bration set - Whimsical Words...
This is an easel card. I saw this first at Brisbane Regionals and thought it would be great to do. So I found a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers and went to work ! (Here's the link - http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/easelcard/ ).
I used Regal Rose, Rose Red and Whisper White Card Stock; Rose Red Ink; Raspberry Tart DSP; Rose Red 1" Double Stitched Ribbon, and half pearls from the Pretties Kit. I also used the Circle Scissors to cut the circles - I punched the white with the 1 3/4 punch then cut 2 circles - 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" - from the circle scissors. I sponged each circle along the edge then roughed them up with my bone folder. I stuck them on with dimensionals so I didn't flatten the roughed up edges! I love this idea of a card because they look so great standing up on your desk!
Don't forget to leave a comment on ALL the blogs to go into the draw for some great Blog Candy!! Once you've done that email Leonie ( leonie@stamp-a-latte.com )to let her know and she'll put you into the draw.
So now you should head over to Felicity's Blog - http://stampinwithflick.blogspot.com/2010/01/esad-sab-blog-hop.html she has some amazing stuff over there!!
See you back here soon.
